Cookin Cajun Cooking School
Come cook with us while you are in New Orleans! At the Cookin' Cajun Cooking School in the Riverwalk Mall. You can learn enough in a two hour class to go back home and cook a fabulous feast for your family & friends. our experienced chefs will prepare and serve a full four course meal. While enoying your lunch, you will learn cooking tips and techniques as well as being entertained with humorous stories about New Orleans and Cajun country.
COOKING CLASSES
Classes are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Our daily menus can be found here. In a casual atmosphere, you will be seated at comfortable tables with a great view of your chef as well as the Mississippi River. You will receive the recipes for the dishes prepared and a 10% discount on any purchases made in our gourmet shop after class. Price: $25 per person. $12.50 children 12 and under.
GROUP CLASSES
Group Classes are available for lunch, dinner or any special time needed. Our chef will assist you in menu selection, seating arrangements and prices. If you want some "lagniappe" (a little something extra) for you group we can suggest cookbooks, pot holders, aprons etc.
HANDS ON CLASSES
Due to popular demand we now offer "Hands On" cooking classes for 1 to 6 would be chefs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. You will cook 6 different dishes of your choosing during the three hour class, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts, under the expert guidance of one of our instructors. Give us a call at 1-800-523-6425 to make your reservation and select your menu. Price: $300 for up to 2 people, $50 per person after 2 up to 6.
OFF-SITE DEMONSTRATIONS
Our Chefs are available for groups at hotels or other locations of your choices. They also do convention booth demonstrations and out of town events.
