Donderos’ Kitchen is a locally owned family business situated in the Cobbham neighborhood, close to downtown Athens. Located in a renovated historic house on North Milledge Avenue, we serve authentic international food prepared from scratch daily. Our presentation is deli style ready-to-go meals, but customers are welcome to eat in at our outside garden picnic table, sun porch, or gold dining room. In addition to our ever-changing international cuisine, we have a wide selection of gourmet groceries, frozen prepared foods, local and international ceramics, cookbooks, and more. We are a great place to shop for many items having to do with cooking and eating. Come in and join us for delicious food, specialty groceries, and a warm, neighborly atmosphere. Join chef and teacher, Tim Dondero, for a hands-on cooking class at Donderos’ Kitchen. Stay to enjoy the dinner you’ve made, paired with complimentary, regional wine. From Mediterranean to Thai, Malaysian to French, these hands-on classes explore basic cooking principles and skills. Learn to use equipment and techniques and to prepare ingredients specific to the cuisine. Upon leaving, you will be able to recreate these authentic international foods in your own home!
