Fullers Second Floor
Fuller´s Home & Hardware opened its doors in November of 2004.Family and tradition have been apart of our business for decades. Doug Fuller Sr. started helping out at his father´s Phillips 66 station at the age of 10. Lloyd Fuller opened the station in Hinsdale, Illinois in 1946. He then turned the back of the station into a car wash. Eventually
Doug´s three brothers joined the business. Lloyd Fuller sold the business to his sons in 1998. Doug´s brothers went to other suburbs to franchise the car washes. Doug and Elizabeth and their seven children decided to stay in Hinsdale. Today the family has grown to 31 grandchildren. All seven children, spouses, and grandchildren are involved in the business. With the seven children all growing families of their own, the corporation needed to branch out.
At this time Soukup True Value Hardware, which had been a 75 year institution in Hinsdale, was selling their building. It seemed like a natural fit for the Fuller´s. The family voted to purchase Soukup´s and closed the deal in early spring of 2003. Family members immediately got to work on the research. They set up a cooperative with Ace Hardware, which is on the first floor. On the upper level, the Fuller´s opened ¨The Second Floor¨, featuring a demonstration kitchen and products for all your home needs.
At Fuller´s Home & Hardware the family utilizes the same idea as at Fuller´s Service Center, superb customer service, with an eye on detail. On ¨The Second Floor¨ we will bring to you the most beautiful tableware, gifts and kitchen goods in a convenient way to shop on-line! We invite you to browse through our selection of the most beautiful tableware and home goods available. We want to offer you the best selection and the friendliest service.
