How It Works
Each Hands on Gourmet event is custom-designed to accommodate you. We understand that everyone’s needs are different, which is why Hands On Gourmet works with each client to design the perfect cooking event. We work with groups from 10 people to 100 or more, and can do events any time of day, any day of the week. Here’s how it works….
Choose a Menu
Executive Chef Stephen Gibbs has designed a series of five-course menus to showcase the freshest seasonal foods. We help you select the best menu for your group.
Book a Venue
Hands On Gourmet brings the party just about anywhere. Our chefs come to you, or we find the perfect venue for your event. We offer great locations throughout the Bay Area, from wineries with sweeping vistas to sunny locations overlooking the Bay to gleaming professional kitchens in the heart of the city.
Fine Tune the Details
Each event has a unique flavor. Hands On Gourmet helps organize every last detail — from favors for your guests to wine pairing with your menu. We make the process easy for you and the event memorable for your guests.
Memorable Event
When you arrive, have a nice glass of wine, and a nosh while you mingle. For every dish, a cooking station is equipped with a recipe, a chef, and the ingredients and tool you need. The chef explains and demonstrates key techniques, while you create and learn by doing. After cooking together for about one and a half hours, sit down, relax, and eat! We'll handle all the clean up.
The Fun Lives On!
Each guest receives Hands On Gourmet recipes so they can show off their new skills to friends and family. In addition, we capture all the fun of your Hands On Gourmet cooking experience with our digital camera, and share the photos with you.
