Man with a Pan Culinary Adventures
Portland Maine was recently named by the Food Network one of the 3 top culinary destinations in the United States. Man with a PanTM Culinary Adventure will explore the Southern Maine region of Greater Portland so you will discover why it earned this honor. You will get to taste and cook with various foods made by artisan food makers. Explore Casco Bay and learn how a lobster is caught, then go to the market where the lobster is sold to buy your food that you will cook with that evening.
Chef Jonathan has made arrangements with a local B&B in Gorham, Me, just minutes from Downtown Portland, 20 minutes from LL Bean, and just minutes from some of the most beautiful coastline in the US. PineCrest Inn is your home for the week and the location for our evening cooking classes.
We will start the week with a welcome dinner cooked by Chef Mo, Chef at the PineCrest Inn. The next day will start a 5 day culinary adventure that will be fun and full of food. We will cook fresh Maine seafood; fresh beef from an organic Farm in Freeport, Maine and many other culinary delights.
A minimum of 6 people is needed to conduct the course. There are 12 spots available.
Reserve your spot in our spring 2008 class – May 18-23 rd or fall class - Sept 13-18 th.
Cost is $1975 per person. Reserve on line, or call 650-1404. Price includes room, transportation for tours, cooking classes, a manual of recipes and beverages with dinner (including wine).
A non refundable deposit of 987.50 is due by Jan 31 for May class and by April 30 th for September class, with payment in full due 90 days prior. If final payment is not paid by the due date we will consider the reservation cancelled.
