Vision:
Our goal is to teach skills for a lifetime of healthy cooking. In each class we challenge students—from the novice to the most experienced—to experience new foods as we introduce them to approachable culinary techniques. They leave with the confidence to adapt and repeat our recipes at home.
Our name, Ruby Chard, represents fresh and simple food from the garden. Thus we designed our cooking and baking classes in the same manner, gearing them toward the busy life styles of most people today. The classes are approachable and interesting—not overly involved and not overly complicated. We develop recipes you’ll want to re-create for family and friends – fresh, simple yet elegant dishes you can master with ingredients from your local market.
Ruby Chard offers in-home cooking and baking classes for special celebrations or just an informal get-together for friends. Ideas range from:

The classes may be tailored for any size group from one to twenty, depending on your learning goals, the size and layout of your kitchen, etc.
