Willow Tree Foods of Portsmouth, New Hampshire offers both Hands-On and Demonstration style gourmet Cooking Classes for students of all ages. Have fun learning while cooking in a relaxed setting with a highly skilled teacher who has a passion for food and a desire to share it with others.

The best parties happen in the kitchen! Novice or experienced cooks can register for a variety of cooking classes ranging from a Cooking 101 Techniques class to recreating tasty dishes.
Skills Series

During the Skills Series Classes we will meet four times and learn about the different cooking methods. Each class will be comprised of a brief lecture and then hands on learning. You will be given your own information packet and recipes.

The curriculum reviews the five basic cooking techniques:

* ~ Roasting and Baking
* ~ Grilling and Broiling
* ~ Frying, Searing and Saut�ing
* ~ Braising
* ~ Poaching, Steaming and Boiling

Students select from a variety of contemporary and classic dishes in order to learn the basic cooking techniques. Every class is unique, built by students through their menu selections.
How It Works

After selecting a menu with us, we�ll send you a grocery and equipment list at least one week prior to class to allow you to gather materials. Then we�ll gather to cook, laugh, and learn. You will be given homework prior to the next class. Watch your skills, palate, and food savvy grow.
