Young Chefs Academy
YCA offers workshops for boy scouts, girlscouts, private bookings for any kind of celebration, cooking classes, fieldtrips for schools, culinary camps, and fun birthday party packages. Our instructors are kid friendly and teach children how to cook in practical, hands on ways. Our curriculum always integrates other subject areas into the lesson so children are using math, reading and science skills. Cooking classes open children's minds up to other cultures and cuisines. They are more apt to try something in a formal classroom setting where other kids are enthusiastic about trying different foods. Children want to naturally explore, and cooking is a great way for them to become creative. Sanitation, kitchen safety, food storage, nutrition, purchasing foods, and other topics are also integrated into the programs. Best of all, kids have fun.
In addition, adults have fun too. YCA is a great place for an adult get together. Corporate team building workshops are offered at YCA and can help boost employees morale, confidence, and encourages problem solving.
