REGISTRATION INFORMATION

 

  • Unless otherwise noted, class participants must be 18 or older. Wine or beer classes may have a minimum age of 21.
  • Hands-on, Basics and Kids classes are designated.

Participants in Hands-on classes are asked to wear closed toe shoes, shirts with close fitting sleeves, to remove jewelry and to pull back long hair. While we take every precaution for your safety, the kitchen can be a dangerous place. You will also be asked to sign a waiver before you enter the classroom.

Basics classes will introduce you to fundamental culinary techniques or to recipes that are easy to master.

Kids classes are usually divided into specific age groups so that everyone participating in the classes has the same skill level. Parent and Child classes often include a wider age group since the focus is on family members learning to work together in the kitchen. All childrens classes are hands-on.

The Featured Chef star draws your attention to an instructor who has recently released a cookbook, a professional chef/instructor, or a chef or instructor who has gained regional or national attention. These chefs usually teach classes in more than one of our schools. The majority of these classes are demonstrations.

  • Most classes are demonstration classes. A qualified instructor will explain the techniques used and discuss the process of the cooking the recipes.
  • Most evening classes include wine pairings. Please limit your consumption to items served in class.
  • Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Please plan on arriving at our Cooking School 10 to 15 minutes before class in order to be checked in and in your seat by the start of class. Late arrivals will be seated in available spaces.

Please note that registration is a firm commitment to attend the class.To avoid being charged the full price of the class, Cancellations must be made 4 DAYS in advance. (for example, reservations for a class on Monday at 6:30 pm would need to be canceled before 12 am on Friday.)

  • Menus are subject to change due to the seasonality of some ingredients.
