COOKING CLASS DINNER: COUPLES NIGHT OUT-FOOD & WINE PAIRING
 

Couples Night Out classes are offered once a month and usually fall on the last Sunday of each month. These special cooking class demonstrations/dinners will feature a four-course gourmet dinner with each course paired with a different wine. *Price includes tax & tip.  Additional wine/beer available for purchase.

 

This is an opportunity to enjoy a special afternoon out for a fun day of cooking and socializing that we call “Couples’ Night Out”.   This part-demonstration, part hands-on class starts in the kitchen with one of our chef instructors. You will learn a variety of new techniques and skills in the kitchen during the demonstration and have opportunities throughout the approximately two hours you'll be in the kitchen to participate in preparing the gourmet dinner.  

 

Once the meal is ready for plating (around 5:00 pm), you will be seated in our dining room where you can relax and savor the flavors of our themed menu creations. Each course will be paired with a different wine.

NOTE:  WHEN BOOKING A RESERVATION, ONE SEAT EQUALS ONE COUPLE.

KNIFE SKILLS

 

Despite all the gadgets and electronic machines available to us in the kitchen, the knife still remains the most common, important tool for food preparation.  This not only relates to choosing the proper knife for a particular task, but also to technique, time, safety and sanitation.  From the chef's knife to the paring, to serrated, and even the cleaver, using the proper tool is important to the final outcome.

In this course, you will learn about each type of knife available to the chef, as well as it's intended use.  In addition, the care and proper handling of the knife as a kitchen tool will be covered.  After all, investment in the proper equipment, like anything else, can be costly and we want to maintain our purchases for extended utility.

The course will cover many of the cuts that are utilized in the professional kitchen; i.e. julienne, bias, oblique, batonnet, and several other classical techniques.  Join us to learn the very basic skills you will need to master as you become proficient in your kitchen!

COOKING CLASS DINNER: COUPLES NIGHT OUT-FOOD & WINE PAIRING
 

Couples Night Out classes are offered once a month and usually fall on the last Sunday of each month. These special cooking class demonstrations/dinners will feature a four-course gourmet dinner with each course paired with a different wine. *Price includes tax & tip.  Additional wine/beer available for purchase.

 

This is an opportunity to enjoy a special afternoon out for a fun day of cooking and socializing that we call “Couples’ Night Out”.   This part-demonstration, part hands-on class starts in the kitchen with one of our chef instructors. You will learn a variety of new techniques and skills in the kitchen during the demonstration and have opportunities throughout the approximately two hours you'll be in the kitchen to participate in preparing the gourmet dinner.
