Join Jacqueline Lee Donabed the Pâtissier behind The Blue Macaron for a 4 hour lesson in creating beautiful, delicious macarons!


The French Macaron has officially immigrated to the US. Small, yet demanding, these persnickety little delights require a bit of practice. Pâtissier Jacqueline will teach you the techniques you need to master the French Macarons in your own home.
 
In this four hour course, participants will learn and take home three different varieties of macarons. Salted Caramel, Mixed Berry, and a choice between Mint or Spicy Chocolate.
Macarons involve a variety of techniques including: Italian meringue, proper mixing and piping, from-scratch caramel and chocolate ganache, and assembly.

In this 3 hour class you will make buttercream, shape and skim coat your cake, cover it fondant and work with fondant decoration.

6-9: Spring II -- Healthy Food Makeover
