Charm Your Sweetheart with Chocolate

Charm your sweetheart with handmade chocolates for Valentine's Day using techniques from this hands-on class by Chef Luis Realpozo, artisan for Homeward Bound's Halo Truffles.

Your evening kicks off with an aromatic cup of Mexican hot chocolate accompanied by "florette" churros drizzled with a cajeta (caramel) sauce -- a perfect winter combination. Chef Luis demonstrates creation of the irresistible light florettes with Chef Rachelle Boucher.

Guests will learn to make a simple chocolate ganache and roll it into gourmet treats, then practice their skills by rolling up a pound of their own truffles to take home.

To cap off the evening, enjoy a delectable Mexican chocolate mousse and see what surprises the chefs will offer for take-home sampling. You'll leave with the recipes and knowledge to make your own charming chocolate treats for gifts or parties.

The ticket price of $35 including desserts and truffles. Wine will be available for sale.
