We’re excited to have you join us for a cooking class. We supply the food, equipment, instruction and fun. Here are a few tips to help you get ready for your class.
Location – Most of our classes are held in our location in the Kruseway area of Lake Oswego (at I-5 and 217) but we do occasionally do classes at other venues. The class description lists the location. Please call us or email us if you are unsure.
Hands on or demo – If your class is a hands on class, the words “hands on” should appear somewhere in the title e.g. Hands on Sushi. If it does not have those words in the title, chances are it is not a hands on class. Please call us or email us if you are unsure.
Parking – Our Lake Oswego location offers ample free parking (off-street).
Shoes – For safety and sanitation we ask that all students wear closed toe shoes without heels in a hands-on cooking class. Non-slip soles are preferred.
Knives – We have a complete set of Kershaw Shun knives for students to use during the cooking class. You may bring your own knives, but we cannot assume any responsibility for lost or damaged knives.
Jewelry – We ask that students wear minimal jewelry during the cooking portion of the class.
Perfumes – Some people are very allergic to perfumes and colognes so we ask that you do not wear them to class.
Hair – We ask that long hair be pulled back during the cooking portion of the class.
Aprons – Please bring your own apron to class if you are taking a hands-on class. We sell aprons at a discounted price if you need to purchase one.
Allergies and dietary restrictions – We can accommodate most allergies and dietary restrictions in our cooking classes. We ask that students please contact us at least 7 days before their class to make arrangements. Please contact us by calling 503.248.2015.
