Cameras are welcome, but cell phones and pagers MUST be turned to vibrate.

Students are taught how to properly use REAL kitchen tools, knives, and appliances safely under adult supervision. Our students come away with the confidence to prepare dishes that are age appropriate and tasty. Our goal is to encourage your child to be a help in the kitchen and to have fun while building a lifetime of good skills. 

Parents are welcome to stay and watch OR leave and return when class is over.  Students will NOT be allowed to leave the store WITHOUT A PARENT or GUARDIAN picking them up from INSIDE THE STORE! 

Focus will be on "Baking Basics" such as reading a recipe, identifying & using baking tools, measuring dry & liquid ingredients, cracking eggs, using a kitchen scale, and using a mixer.

The cuisine of New Orleans encompasses common dishes and foods of the south and French cultures.  Some of the dishes originated in New Orleans, while others are common and popular in the city and surrounding areas, such as the Mississippi River Delta and southern Louisiana.

The cuisine of New Orleans is heavily influenced by Creole cuisine (French, Spanish and West African), Cajun cuisine (Acadians, French Canadian), and soul food (African American). Seafood also plays a prominent part in the cuisine. Dishes invented in New Orleans include po' boy and muffuletta sandwiches, oysters Rockefeller and oysters Bienville, pompano en papillote, and bananas Foster, among others.

If you have never made or eaten fresh pasta, you are in for quite a treat. Making it can be a group event and really fun. Fresh pasta is delicate and has a richer texture than dry packaged pasta. You will learn to make the basic dough and use a pasta machine to work and shape it.

After this class, you may never eat packaged pasta again!

We offer simple and elegant recipes for two chefs cooking together with the aim of turning the routine daily task of making dinner into a relaxing and romantic bonding experience for two.

These recipes are designed for busy working couples who find themselves with limited time for just about everything – including preparing dinner and for spending quality moments with each other.  PLUS you get to enjoy cocktails too!

A pasta dish light as a feather, gnocchi are wonderful, tasty treats.  You may have been told that gnocchi are difficult to make and very time consuming.  Not so!  After this hands-on workshop, you will find them to be worth a bit of work, but not too difficult.

Rolling Pin Summer Camps are a great way to learn new skills in the kitchen, create tasty recipes, and meet lots of new friends.   

The only things you need to be prepared are closed toe shoes and a restraint for shoulder length hair.  We provide all the ingredients, tools, and FUN! 

Cameras are welcome, but cell phones and pagers MUST be turned to vibrate.

We use real tools and knives.  Students are taught how to properly use all kitchen tools, knives, and appliances safely under adult supervision. Our students come away with the confidence to prepare dishes that are age appropriate and tasty.  Our goal is to encourage your child to be a help in the kitchen and learn to have fun while building a lifetime of good skills. 

Parents are welcome to stay and watch OR leave and return when class is over.  Students will NOT be allowed to leave the store WITHOUT A PARENT or GUARDIAN picking them up from INSIDE THE STORE!

Tampa Bay continues to support New/Innovative Restaurants and Menus. Seems a new place or re-imagined menu pops up every day.

Chef Dave and Karen love to explore the starters and appetizers these awesome new restaurants and chefs are serving up.  

This menu features some favorites that he will reinterpret for you.  

Tonight's Menu:

Saffron, Chorizo and Manchego Arancini with Spanish Romesco Sauce

Tender Char-grilled Octopus with Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, Fried Chic Peas and Lemon Salsa Verde Dressed Herb Salad

Carne Cruda: Beef Rib-eye Carpaccio with Lemon and Olive Oil with Pepper Chips

Pan Seared Dry Pack Jumbo Sea Scallop with Smoked Gouda Grits, Bacon Sautéed Brussels Sprouts Shavings and Chili Corn Puree

Pretzel Toffee White and Deep Dark Chocolate “Crack” with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and Caramel Sauce
