Each student will have the opportunity to test out what they learn and will also enjoy a meal of vegeatable soup and gourmet panini. 

In this Hands-on and demonstration 2 1/2 hours class you will learn and practice:

1) Anatomy of a Knife
2) What Kind of Knives Do you need?
3) Proper Work Station/Best Type of Cutting Board
4) Storing Your Knife
5) Holding Your Knife
6) Ensuring Safety: Keeping Your Knife Sharp
7) How to Seed and Julienne Bell Peppers, carrots, potatoes and various vegetables
8) How to Dice and Slice Onions

We will use our skills to make homemade vegetable soup and designer grilled cheese sandwiches.

This is a HANDS-ON style class.   Each student may bring in a few of their knives to practice sharpening!

House wine, beer, coffee and iced tea are included. Other wines by the bottle and the glass are available at an additional charge.

Here is your chance to attend a demonstration style class early enough in the evening to still get to a New Year's Eve Party or to get home before the crazies get out on the road.
