STEAK NIGHT! NEW CLASS

STEAK NIGHT!

Check out the calendar each month for a NEW class called STEAK NIGHT.  This class is a bit different than most.  It is really casual, more like a mixer with food, beer and wine.  Participate if you like, sit back and watch/converse or get your hands in the middle, it's up to you.

STEAK will always be on the menu.  Whether seared, charred, grilled or broiled, each of these new classes features a different steak or steak preparation.

Nothing fancy, just an Appetizer, a Great Steak, a Side, a something Sweet.

Simplicity at it's best!

Traditional Rice Pilaf

Brownie Pie with Fresh Whipped Cream

SPECIAL EVENT: ARTISAN PORK TASTING

SPECIAL EVENT

ARTISAN PORK TASTING

Can you name the 5 things that Pork and Wine have in common?

You've heard of a wine tasting, how about an artisan pork tasting? Rolling Pin is proud to partner with Carrie Oliver, Founder of The Artisan Beef Institute, to treat meat lovers and sustainability advocates to a blind tasting of pork from four Artisan Ranch and Butcher teams, each specializing in a different breed, growing region, diet, and aging technique.

Carrie created the concept of "Artisan Meat" that evaluates, rates, and creates professional tasting notes for individual farms, ranches, and butcher teams. Some call her "the Robert Parker of Meat", others "Beef Geek".

We are excited about hosting Carrie at this festive and provocative Pork Tasting.

What you can expect:

Start  the class
out with a bit of background information while being served an appetizer that will double as a palate cleanser.

Move on to a "BLIND TASTING" of four different 2-ounce Artisan Pork samples.  These will be the same cut of meat from four different farms/butcher teams.

If you wish, pork may also be sampled with and without wines/beers.

Then Carrie will lead a "Discussion & Reveal".

A refreshing salad of seasonal greens will be served.

Finish with a Gourmet Cheese Plate
with Crusty Bread, Fruit and Nuts.

Though this is a new concept for us at the Rolling Pin, Carrie has conducted these tastings/classes all over the USA.

Join us for something truly different and unique!
