This series of fundamental cooking classes focuses on the techniques and skills needed to become a confident home cook.   During the series you will learn basic knife skills, stock making, custards, sauteing, ice cream making, sauce reductions, braising, blanching, pan and oven roasting, grilling, frying, and tart doughs. View each day for specific skills and recipes.

 

This is a HANDS-ON style class

House wine, beer, iced tea, and coffee are included.  Other wines by the bottle and the glass are available at an additional charge.

This series of cooking classes focuses on techniques and skills needed for more advanced cooking.  Students MUST have completed Cooking Fundamental Series 101 or have DEMONSTRABLE culinary kitchen skills and experience.  No basic skills will be taught in this series. 

During the series, you will cook specific recipes that will enhance and build on your basic culinary skills.  The recipes take into consideration a number of different cuisines and the skills required to produce them.
