Persian Cooking Class with Chef Rubina
 

A delicious, palate pleasing class on Persian food focused on exotic flavors and ingredients. Join Chef Rubina as she balances the sweet, sour, spicy and fragrant  flavors of this beautiful country to delight your friends and family with all year round. A perfect class to have fun cooking and take your taste buds on a culinary adventure!

 

In this class, you will learn to utilize saffron, rosewater, cardamom, mint and more to create delicious rice, delectable lentils, mouth watering kabobs and colorful vegetables. By the end of class, you will be able to make a Persian feast for your friends and family!

The Persian Empire menu is as follows:

Shirazi Salad (delicious Persian salad made with fresh veggies in olive oil sauce)

Addasi (healthy Persian lentil stew)

Kabob Degi (Persian favorite minced beef kabob in cast iron)

Zereshk Polo (Barberry rice, known as 'celebration rice', made with barberries and saffron)

Baklava  (phyllo pastry made with many layers of dough, filled with ground nuts and flavored with rose water syrup)

The best chefs in LA call him in to launch and fine-tune their artisan pizza and bread programs including Bestia, Republique, Felix, Rose Cafe and many more. Besides having an A-List roster of private pizza catering clients, Noel also loves to share his artisan pizza and bread recipes and techniques with home bakers. 
 
If you follow the restaurant scene, recently you may have noticed him consulting at RPM on the water for Chef Doug Psaltis and Lettuce Entertain You in Chicago, Free Play at the Banc of California Stadium for Chef Tim Hollingsworth, at El Segundo Brewing Company's new tap room Slice & Pint room in El Segundo, and most recently iin the Mission District up in San Francisco at the soon to open Flour & Water Pizzeria with chef Thomas McNaughton.
