Join Surfas in welcoming Vanessa Barajas (the amazing mind behind Clean Eating with a Dirty Mind) and Juli Bauer (the New York Times Best Selling Author and creator of PaleOMG) who have come together on book tour to celebrate their newest cookbooks!

Celebrating her first cookbook, Clean Eating with a Dirty Mind, Vanessa will be joining Juli, author of her third cookbook Juli Bauer's Paleo Cookbook, as they kick off their California book tour at Surfas! Vanessa and Juli will share how paleo can be exciting, tasty, AND easy with their sweet and savory options. Juli will be creating a savory dish from her latest book and Vanessa will be making a sweet dessert. Together, these two ladies will show you how approachable paleo is all while having an amazing time in the kitchen. You will NOT want to miss this cooking demo!

Recipes and samples will be provided. Reservations will not be taken for this event so please arrive early as seating is limited. Book signing will commence after the demonstration.

Join Surfas in welcoming Chef Derek Poirier, corporate Pastry Chef and Ecole du Grand Chocolato for Valrhona. Dessert Professional magazine, the nation's leading publication of pastry, ice cream and chocolate industries, inducted Chef Poirier into the Top Ten Pastry Chefs in America for 2014. Chef Poirier develops recipes and teaches master classes at L'Ecole du Grand Chocolat. He has also participated as a member of Team USA at the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie in Lyon, France. Considered to be one of the world’s best chocolates, enjoy this rare opportunity to meet and learn from Valrhona’s best!
