I have always enjoyed the classes, but it seems that this was just an off night.

The Instructor (Chef) was?: He did not seem to be on his game. Annyoyed with the assistant chefs and mentioning the effect of the ecomony causing the class to be small. Mentioning that the assistant did not buy enough shrimp. He was funny and clever as usual, but these aspects were overshadowed by the negative comments.

The atmosphere was: See above. It was almost akward because I was bringing a new attendee for her birthday gift.

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: Not crazy about the appetizer , but love the main course

I was happy to get there early (as I live in SW Broward) then disappointed when I had to sit in the back row because Lucy (?) had "reserved" the second row of seats for her guests. Then she was a distraction 2 - 3 times for us in the back row when she walked back and forth with the wine bottle. She should have either entertained her guests in the back row, or just sat on the side and passed the friggin' bottle along ... better yet she should have arranged for a private class. She wasn't in her own house and she wasn't thinking of the "non-guests". At times I felt like I was crashing someone's party, even though I paid to be there like everyone else... It put a little damper on what otherwise was a great evening.

The Instructor (Chef) was?: I always appreciate how you all are truthful when it comes to products and vendors (if something is good or worth it -- or not). Also the tips are very helpful (i.e. when JP was discussing the truth about knife sharpening)

Originally, this was a Christmas gift from my chidren. My daughter in law attended a class by herself and thought it would be fun with a friend. I was the honored "friend". Nice isn't it. She and I attended the class together on a rather nasty (weather wise) evening. Had a wonderful time, needless to say we are planning to cook the meal together for our family. I will give her further gifts from your school..... it is nice to pass on laughter and cooking with the family. Family functions always begin with fun at the table. Thank you Sharon Lettera

While the food was outstanding and I really learned a lot, the atmosphere wasn't quite the same as the first class I attended in December. It seems frustrating to me that some groups are there just to socialize, while I am there to learn something new. It is very distracting to have loud personal conversations going on around you. The chef seemed affected by it as well.

The Instructor (Chef) was?: The chef didn't seem quite like himself. Perhaps due to the distracting students who were rudely talking loudly.

The Instructor (Chef) was?: Bob and I just love your classes! Always learn things! The crab casserole was just wondeful...plan to make this! AND, the oher things on the menu are our favorites from before! Love our stove top iron pan!!!
