The instructor was: Daisy was so charismatic and endearing to all. You could tell that she enjoys what she does and loves her fans.
The atmosphere was: The group was awesome. Everyone came together to make the demo tasting a success whether it was chopping ingredients or serving the food, everyone was on their feet with such enthusiasm.
Complexity of the recipes: Reading the recipes you might get slightly intimidated, however, once you saw the actual preparation, you realized that the recipes can easily be featured at your next dinner party.
The food was: Where do I start? Everything was delicious. I wish I could have gone back the next night for more.
The skills you learned were: I learned how to prepare mussels and how easy it is to make Chow Fan rice. I also learned that you shouldn't get a manicure before grating yucca.
I enjoyed myself and had fun: This was my first class and I feel that Don Coqui has a beautiful area for such events. Daisy Martinez was great. I couldn't stop talking about my experience to all my coworkers the next day. The best thing was that I was able to take some chicken home that night and share it with my husband who did not go with me. After hearing about my night, he will definitely not want to miss the next class I sign up for.
