HOLY WOW! So much fun with chefs Arlen Gargagliano and Stephanie last week during our Brazilian girls night out. My friend and I had one of the best nights we've had in a A LONG time... Great drinks and recipes that were easy to follow and incredibly delicious! I had such fun meeting new people and our chefs were SO helpful! Arlen and Stephanie are just good people... fun to be around:) I cannot wait to make the simple dishes at home with my family:) When we finished eating and drinking to our hearts content, we all went upstairs for some fabulous dancing (while the staff cleaned up our mess -- the best part!!) The Latin music was awesome! -- I can't wait until the next one! Thanks so much again, chefs!!!

Stephanie....you are the GREATEST!

Your class was fun, fun, fun! You create a comfortable, interactive environment while at the same time teaching the participants to create easy, delicious meals with very little effort. We learned many basics, like cutting onions, holding knives...etc. The group shared laughter and experiences while creating a meal that was shared and accompanied with wine or beer. Everyone left with cooking knowledge that we can incorporate into our kitchens immediately....I ran off to buy my Kosher salt...will never use any other. We learned that this is the salt of chefs...the meal was delicious!

Thanks so very much and I look forward to many more classes with you.

All I can say is- WOW! I attended the Carribean Cooking class and I loved it! The chefs were so informative, yet patient, nice and entertaining! The minute we sat down we were given the most delicious sangria and they have wine set up too, so you can help yourself throughout the class. The food was AMAZING-out of this world, ceviche, shrimp fritters, pototo pancakes, bean dip, acai margaritas, strawberry sake cocktails, I had a blast helping to make all the different menu items. Its great b/c you can be as hands on or hands off as you like. ANd then we sat down and feasted on the fruits of our labor-YUMMY!!! I have been to a cooking class here before and I always leave with a huge smile on my face-Thanks again for a great time Don Coqui- I will def be back again soon! :)

Amazing Class! Amazing Food and Amazing Chefs! I attended the Don Coqui Caribbean Cooking class on Friday night and had a fantastic time! From the time we walked thru the door and were handed our first signature sangria of the night thru the last course of shrimp fritters with an Acai Margarita, our expectations were over exceeded! The chef instructors were so helpful and entertaining it made cooking easy and fun! I especially loved the Sea bass ceviche with cashew nuts! What a great flavor combination I’ve never experienced before! Thank you Don Coqui for such a great experience! I’ll definitely be back for another round of cooking!

Class with Chef Arlen Gargagliano (Latin Style Thanksgiving) was a wonderful experience. I had such a great time meeting new people, learning new recipes and cooking with friends. The piece de resistance was getting served our delicious meal by the wonderful Chef Arlen and Don Coqui Staff. I will definitely be using the recipes I've learned this Thanksgiving and taking another class at Don Coqui.

I was also at "A Taste of Tuscany" and thought it was great!
Chef Stephanie and her sous Chef Stephan made the class a breeze. All the techniques were explained in a very understandable manner and the recipes were thing I'll definitely make again!

I took the "Summer Seafood" course on Wednesday, 9/2/09. For those who may have taken cooking classes at MacMenamins Don Coqui features the same great instructor (Chef Stephanie) and same great food.

We'll definitely be back for the class and to sample the delicious-smelling cuisine at the restaurant upstairs!

I just recently took the Summer Seafood cooking class and I have to say I LOVED IT!!!! I learned so much, hello? how to fillet a whole Salmon, cook live lobsters and all sorts of fine knife skills that I have seen on say, foodnetwork but its so different when you get to do it yourself and have a real Chef right there teaching you. Chef Stephanie was amazing. So super friendly and knowledable. She just has the perfect mix of kitchen authority and approachability. I had so much fun! And they give you delicious wine and sangria throughout the class(you are allowed to help yourself...ITS UNLIMITED) so it very social and a relaxed atmosphere. And you can be as hands on or hands off as you like. But for me I loved that I got to try all the different stations preparing all the different elements of our AWESOME meal. Lobster cocktail, Shrimp risotto, octopus salad, yumm yummy poached Salmon. Oh and you get a recipe book to take home with you so you can try all your learned and tasted when you get home. And then there was dessert of course...deeelish choclate break pudding with rum caramel sauce! I can't say enough great things about my experience at Don Coqui cooking class with Chef Stephanie and I can't wait to do it again! Its great for girls' night out, or couples too...really anyone who wants to learn in a really fun atmosphere. Thanks so much!!!!
