In Japan, you have to make rice for 10 years before you can roll sushi.  Here in Madison, all you have to do is take this fun and informative hands-on sushi workshop!  Learn to prepare all aspects of sushi from making perfect rice to rolling techniques.  A wide variety of fresh seafood and vegetables will be provided as well as a shrimp and vegetable tempura station. 

Japanese beer and sake will be served.

The Neapolitan pizza isn’t your traditional New York, Chicago or corner pizzeria pie; it represents a deeper passion and respect for the ingredients and communal table. Luckily, Neapolitan pizza and Flambe Gourmet share these two passions. In this class students will learn the basic history of pizza making, the differences between Neapolitan pizza and it’s contemporaries, a basic dough recipe, and the importance of topping selection. Learning to use a knife like a Chef is one of the most important skills that you can have in the kitchen. In this intensive, 2.5-hour hands-on course, you will learn almost every cut and technique practicing on a multitude of different vegetables.

*Students must bring a sharpened chef's knife and large cutting board.
