Homemade Pasta Workshop
 

6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Homemade pasta is easier than you think!  In this hands-on cooking class, you will be learning the homemade pasta techniques such as mixing, kneading, rolling, shaping, cooking and eating!  By practicing  different shapes – tagliatelle and ravioli, you will be an expert by the end of class and wonder why you never made pasta fresh before.

Together We'll Make...

  • Basic Pasta Dough
  • Tagliatelle with Sun Dried Tomato, Pesto and Smoked Mozzarella
  • Ricotta Ravioli with Wild Mushroom and Truffle Cream Sauce
  • Caesar Salad
  • Limoncello Gelato

What to expect at Cooking Classes:

  • You must be 16 years of age or older to attend this class.
  • You will work in small groups of 3-4 people to produce the classes’ entire menu; not just 1 or 2 courses of the meal.
  • Once cooking is complete, you will sit down (with your instructor) to enjoy the fruits of your labor. All food made in the cooking class will be consumed during the class. 
  • Menu may slightly change to accommodate seasonal produce and ingredient availability.
  • Classes are 3 hours in length unless otherwise indicated.
  • Classes are BYOB.

If you love sauces, and you love butter, then you'll love this class!  We'll be making some classic "Mother Sauces" such as Bechamel and Hollandaise - with a luscious variation for each; also mayonnaise - in a scrumptious flavor of your choosing; and, one of the most classic of all sauces, a Beurre Blanc, or white white butter sauce. And don't worry, yes, we will have things for the saues to go on... like broccoli, macaroni, pretzels and chicken breasts!

Sushi-The Art of Making Maki (Rolls)

Today you'll learn not only how to make and season that all important  rice, but also how to make those lovely, delicious rolls that wrap the rice and nori (roasted seaweed sheets) around an assortment of different fillings and garnishes to include sashimi grade tuna and salmon, shrimp, crab, smoked salmon, avocado, carrots, cucumber, flying fish roe, sesame seeds, rice crackers, different sauces ~ and more!

You'll leave with a brand new skill that allows you to make Sushi at home whenever you want, plus during class consume Sushi to your heart's content!

You receive a Sushi Kit with everything you need to make sushi at home - A bamboo sushi rolling mat, reusable chopsticks, sushi rice, sushi recipes, nori sheets, wasabi &  sushi vinegar.

The cost is $160 per couple  'Each reservation automatically Reserves 2 Seats'

Bring your favorite someone and compete with other couples! Based upon the popular TV show, you'll be working in randomly chosen teams with another couple and given a mystery basket of 12 ingredients.  With those 12 ingredients your challenge will be to create an APPETIZER, an ENTREE, and a DESSERT, each using 4 of the mystery ingredients. Don’t worry, you’ll have help from some experts but the creativity is up to you!

It's an evening full of fun, creativity, and lots of laughter!

On this, our final evening together, we will be making a "Cream of Anything" soup - we'll choose the vegetable in advance and make a killer cream (or not!) soup out of it.
