The instructor was: I enjoyed all the little side comments about working at the "Golden Door". . and also learning more about his background and travels.
The atmosphere was: I've always enjoy taking classes at "In Good Taste". . .all the class participants have at least one thing in common and that is: "We Love Good Food"
Complexity of the recipes: The demonstrations and explanations for each recipe was great. . I don't think that I would have any problems reproducing the recipes (unless it might be the pastry. . my down fall). I liked that Chef gave "Suggestions" on what might be added or substituted in some of the recipes.
The food was: I always look forward to a great meal at the classes. . (and I'm never disappointed). . this time I left "satisfied" not "stuffed" as it should be with a "spa cooking" class!
The skills you learned were: I liked the manner in which he sliced the Belgium endive. . baking the tortilla strips and the great presentation of the acorn squash. Not a skill. . but I liked the rice that was served and the fact that we could purchase it and it was helping a needy cause.
