The instructor was: "Entertainment" is not a priority for me for this class. The instructor had a dry sense of humor which I enjoyed. I would not have wanted a comedian as I would have been more focused on the fun than the content.

The instructor was: she was adorable and very nice

The food was: while we didn't cook anything (it was basic knife skills), she did put all of our veggies into a soup at the end...but then added chicken stock! I'm a vegetarian and was really looking forward to the veggie soup. boooo!

The skills you learned were: i don't eat meat which means i always have a LOT of veggies to chop/dice for every meal. i'm excited to practice my new skills and hopefully save myself some prep-time.

Complexity of the recipes: Since we were doing hands on knife skills there was no recipe to evaluate. However Louisa did put together a really quick, easy and quite nice vegetable soup from the veggies on which we learned our skills.

The skills you learned were: I really learned a lot and am quite happy with my first "real" knife and my new Epicurean non slip cutting board!

The food was: Louisa put together a really simple vegetable soup with all of the food that we learned how to prepare. It was simple and delicious.

The instructor was: Jeremy was great, please tell him thanks for being down to earth and not just a know it all chef.

Complexity of the recipes: I probably should have taken another class, I knew almost everything there but it was really nice to have someone critiquing my work and make sure that I'm really doing it right.
