Complexity of the recipes: We made the cream puffs and the hazelnut gelato. Okay, so each by itself was not so complex but doing both at the same time required focus, especially when you're a novice. But it was soooooo worth it. I will be repeating this recipe.

The food was: Hmmm.. 4 desserts in one night. I thought for sure I would not be able to fall asleep. A big concern since I had a 6am flight the next morning. No problem, had all that sugar and crashed!

The instructor was: Louisa is WONDERFUL. I was overjoyed to take this class with her.

The atmosphere was: I think it says a lot about Louisa and In Good Taste that 5 former classmates (from the Fall Basics Class) attended this class:)

Complexity of the recipes: There was a range of recipes, which is wonderful.

The food was: Terrific!

The skills you learned were: FINALLY, I can make a pie crust. I'm in heaven!

I enjoyed myself and had fun: So much fun. I'm very much looking forward to more classes.

Additional comments and observations

The atmosphere was: Pretty much a party!

Complexity of the recipes: Actually, there was a range from easy to complex. I think the people who did the easy recipe (the fruit tart) should have had another easy recipe to do. The other two took much longer and involved many more techniques! I loved doing the more complex one (profiteroles) but would have been disappointed if I only was able to make the fruit tart. (although it was fantastic!)
