The instructor was: Shelley and Sherry were both wonderful! Would not hesitate to take another class from her.
The atmosphere was: Both Shelley and Sherry were upbeat and fun and put all of the students at ease.
Complexity of the recipes: We made salads, so the recipes were not very complex. They are perfect recipes for easy summer dinner salads.
The food was: Awesome!! I loved all the salads especially the Madras Chicken and Shrimp Couscous. There were so many flavors and textures in each one.
The skills you learned were: We had a very small class and got lots of hands on time which was great. As a novice cook, I learned some useful skills such as toasting spices and pickling vegetables as well as learning about some new ingredients such as Persian cucumbers, wheat berries and Israeli couscous.
I enjoyed myself and had fun: It was so much fun! I enjoyed meeting the other students and learning new cooking skills in a stress free environment. Eating the food we made was the best part!
