The instructor was: obviously loves what she does and communicates very well--don't think a cooking class is supposed to be very entertaining as one comes ready to learn and pay attention. The instruction was perfect as she took the opportunity to share knowledge at every opportunity.

The atmosphere was: Assistants were equally helpful and ready to assist and very attentive.
