The instructor was: Adam Kaplan was personable, knowledgeable and helpful. He has a nice self-depricating sense of humor, takes his art seriously, but does not take himself too seriously. The result: he was a lot of fun.

The atmosphere was: Greeted with sparkling wine set the tone. There were eight people in the class so it was informal with nice interaction with Adam Kaplan and other guests. Hostess Michelle was very helpful and attentive.

Complexity of the recipes: I will defintely try some of the recipes.

The food was: I loved the sea scallops recipe. I will use the crabcakes recipe but rely less on salt than Chef Kaplan.

I enjoyed myself and had fun: This was my first cooking class. I had great fun.
