Complexity of the recipes: although the recipes might be somewhat complex she broke them down so that each step was maneagable

The food was: Loved the menu and think that if the class were smaller it would have come together more quickly, thus not such a rush as dishes were plated. I thought the beans were overdone, but then I'm one of those who prefer al dente, in spite of her assertion that they taste better mushy. It was better than OK but not terrific.

The skills you learned were: While I already knew most skills she demonstrated - I've had lots of exprience - I appreciated having validation. I did learn more about olive oil, butter and eggs though, and mixing egg yolks and sugar longer than I ever did was new information.

I enjoyed myself and had fun: Actually I drank too much wine and talked the ear off my neighbor because of that. Still, she didn't seem to mind.
