16th ANNIVERSARY FARMERS MARKET AND MORE
During our special 16th Anniversary celebration, take a trip with us to the Geneva Lakes Farmers Market, support our local farmers, and enjoy an afternoon with Jerry Pawlak, Maitre D' Extraordinaire!
Join us the afternoon of Thursday, June 29th as we walk down to the local Farmers Market for fresh meats, treats, fruits, and vegetables before heading back to the kitchen and using our fresh finds to make a three course luncheon!
Enjoy a Sparkling Mimosa Reception with Cinnamon Beignets as Chef introduces himself and goes over the afternoons menu inspired by what's available at the Farmers Market and demonstrates some basic cuts and important safety techniques before getting broken up into teams.
Reminiscent of the “Good Ol' Days” at the Lake Geneva Playboy Club, Maitre d' Extraordinaire Jerry Pawlak will share entertaining stories while he demonstrates tableside dining,“Playboy Style”.
Then let the "hands-on" cooking begin as you slice, dice, chop, laugh, and dance while each team creates a delicious dish from the three-course menu under the guidance of Chef and the staff.
After all the cooking is done, everyone will sit down for a fine dining experience with a gourmet luncheon that you helped create.
Our recipes featured in class are printed in our cookbook, CHEF JOHN BOGAN RECIPES FROM THE SEASONS OF MY LIFE. Chef John’s cookbook package can be purchased and personalized after each class. Take a culinary field trip to wine country as we put together a 16th Anniversary Napa Valley menu highlighting this regions classic dishes and match it with excellent wine.
Take a step outside of your usual Friday night dinner and make it into something extraordinary with this "hands-on" cooking class!
Enjoy a Sparkling Wine Reception with Parmigiano Popovers as Chef introduces himself and goes over the nights NAPA VALLEY themed menu and demonstrates some basic cuts and important safety techniques before getting broken up into teams.
Then let the "hands-on" cooking begin as you slice, dice, chop, laugh, and dance while each team creates a delicious dish from the four-course menu under the guidance of Chef and the staff.
