A New Series: Learn the basics from A-Z about Plant based and Vegan cuisine
Plate 108 and Upstate Nutrition are proud to announce a new series for anyone who is interested in learning about plant based cooking or a vegan diet. Whether it is for diet purposes or just to eat cleaner, then this is the class for you. This is going to be a 6 week course every Wednesday starting on April 5th - May 10th 2023 @6:30 pm. This will be an interactive cooking course. Each person attending will need to purchase their own ticket to the series.
Class I- April 5th 2023 @6:30pm
The Vegan Pantry
In this class is where we learn how to make all of your plants eating journey. Learn how to make butter, mayonnaise, cheese powder, ketchup, mustard and more.
Class II- April 12th 2023 @6:30pm
All About Plant Proteins
Here is where we learn about the importance of nutrient dense eating and how it benefits us mentally, physically and spiritually. We will discuss legumes, nuts and seeds, tempeh, and seitan. Then we'll make a quick protein rich yet delicious snack.
Class III- April 19th 2023 @6:30pm
The Colorful Plate
In the class we will go over the alkaline way of eating and its not boring. A nutrient dense, colorful and vibrant plate is key to health and wellness. Eating organic, whole, and LIVING foods really matter and it's not expensive at all. Learn how to prepare a tasty meal in minutes!
Class IV- April 26th 2023 @6:30pm
Seafood From Plants
Who said that you can get the taste and close texture of seafood from plants? Oh yes you can and in this class you'll learn how to achieve that. Did I mention that we will be making cocktail sauces too!
Class V- May 3rd 2023 @6:30pm
The Secret To Baking With Plants
Plant based baking seems daunting and in TRUTH, it actually is. Trust me, if I could count all the failures that were made in the kitchen when it comes to this. You can't just use any dairy, egg or butter when baking with just plants. I will teach you the secrets!

In this class I will showcase an easy affordable meal that combines almost everything that we've made in one easy to make, affordable and above all, delish one pot dish.

Kids Cooking + Musical Theater Camp: The Little Mermaid
We are so excited to offer kids camps this summer that combine cooking and musical theater! For the first half of each day, we will cook delicious Little Mermaid themed meals, snacks, and treats. Then for the second half of the day, Natalie will work with the kids on a choreographed Little Mermaid performance. At the end of the week, parents will be invited to watch their kids perform what they have practiced all week, and Little Mermaid refreshments will be provided afterwards to celebrate all their hard work!

We will play The Little Mermaid movies for them to watch, as well as provide Little Mermaid crafts/coloring sheets for them to do while they wait during this time)
- On Friday, parents are invited to join us at 12:00 p.m. to watch the kids' performance and enjoy Little Mermaid refreshments
- We will not allow signing up for just one day of the week. You must sign up for the whole week of classes. The total cost of $499.98 is for the whole week of camp.
