The food tasted wonderful! The guest chef brought wine for us to taste, made extra food for us to take home and brought take-out containers for us too. It was very interesting and we look forward to eating at his new restaurant.

I didn't think it was possible, but I finally met a Chef who uses more butter than Chef Jean Pierre! Wow! That bread pudding was out of sight! Bring Chef Mark back again!
Additional comments and observations

The Instructor (Chef) was?: Mark's stories about cooking at the Left Bank with Chef JP were very entertaining!

The atmosphere was: How could it not be cheerful? He brought 5 bottles of wine to share!

Complexity of the information provided: Great recipies. I will make the gumbo at home

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: Wow! What flavor.

The Skills that you learn were: Just learning how to make a proper brown rue was worth the class.

This was the first time I have ever been to a cooking class. It was a lot of fun. Good food, combined with entertainment. Great concept. Beautiful store. Mark did a great job. Lots of interesting little stories (some of which I have heard before, because Mark is my cousin). I had a great time. Steve Zimmerman

IWe enjoyed the class very much. Mark is a outstanding Cajun chef who wasn’t afraid to share cooking secrets with his students. He also has excellent taste in wine. Future classes with Mark could include etouffee (French: étouffez; smoother), jambalaya, maybe even Beignets…..
