The Cooking 101 book and DVDs were excellent to review before class and will serve as a reference for me in the future. I have been cooking for many years, but the preparation of a sauce from a recipe (often poorly explained) was always a challenge before, both from trying to get the proper thickness of the sauce and from timing it to be finished along with the rest of the dinner. After seeing Chef prepare multiple sauces (along with tips on how to prepare them beforehand) and then practicing at home, I look forward to years of improving my meals! The preparation of stocks and mother sauces will also enhance my cooking. An additional benefit was having a better understanding of what makes a restaurant exceptional. The tips on where to buy needed items locally were helpful. I look forward to recipe classes in the future!

As I have shared with all my friends and family, the classes were amazing. You don't often get to learn in such a friendly and upbeat atmosphere. Can't wait for the 201 classes to start.
