There was alot of material that Eric wanted to cover which was great. In the future, I would have a hand out not just available, but give to each student with clipboard so that notes can be made about the country and the wines we're tasting. There is no way I can remember all the info he gave us. It was great, I just can't remember it all. If someone asked me to tell them about the wines I drank, I'm afraid I couldn't say much.

Complexity of the information provided: We focused more on the wine, rather than the recipes.

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: The food was incredible!!!! We will definitely be back.

The Skills that you learn were: Enjoyed Eric's lecture. He's very knowledgeable.

Anyone who is interested in learning much more about wine and how to correctly pair it with food should take this class!!!
Additional comments and observations

The Instructor (Chef) was?: Eric gave a very nice presentation and was a very engaging and knowledgeable. I also did not realize that Jean-Pierre would also be there cooking his amazing food as we went along. That was a very nice. touch.

Complexity of the information provided: Even though we were not given recipe sheets (much to my dismay) I could tell that the recipes were not overly complicated and could probably be prepared by even beginner chefs.

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: I thought the food pairings were spot on, especially the Arneis white and the garlic prawn. The dessert wine was not a perfect match for the tiramisu but it was still delicious.

The Skills that you learn were: I've been telling everyone I know about this class and all of the delicious wines and food pairings and the excellent presentation and they have all been very impressed. I definitely have a much better understanding of pairing certain foods with certain wines and learned a great deal about Italy, much more than I could from a book or television show.

Would you come back: This was a wonderful class and I learned a great deal. I learned much more than I ever expected to and the information and pictures from the power point presentation was a nice touch because I'm a visual learner.

Eric is very much into the world of wines and does a good job of explaining things. It almost seems, though that there should be several classes per country on wines since there are so many wine areas/country with their own personalities and definition.

The Skills that you learn were: The wines of Italy seem to be a bit more complex than others - would like a bit more historical depth of explanation.
