We had a loud know-it-all in the audience that was quite annoying, even talking over Chef at times. He handled her like a pro! The Stevens' and I are scheduled to attend another class on May 24! We can't wait!

The Instructor (Chef) was?: Always funny, with fun anecdotes and jokes. The atmosphere was: This is always a great time. A fun way to spend an evening with friends, and it's just as comfortable and welcoming to go alone and meet new people. Complexity of the information provided: Everything is always taught step-by-step so it seems very easy and not intimidating at all. The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: I think this is the best food I have had yet in one of your classes. Everything was outstanding! The shortribs melted in my mouth. Can't wait to make it at home. The Skills that you learn were: As always, I learned several unique techniques that I had not heard of or seen before. Example: the chocolate nibs in the mousse. Great texture and flavor.

Complexity of the information provided: Average but not easily done w/out the equipment. The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: All of the food was delicious. The Skills that you learn were: Skills are great if you have all of the equipment necessary, mixers, pots, etc. Also, the chef was assisted, not a realistic thing for a person at home.

The Instructor (Chef) was?: Chef Jean Pierre is delightful and very entertaining. He provided a lot of extra useful cooking explanations. I loved shopping on aisle three! The atmosphere was: Not only cheerful but very, very fun. Complexity of the information provided: The cooking tips Chef gave out are extremely useful and I love the fact that there was no such thing as a stupid question and Chef answered every question asked with the utmost respect. The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: I never knew polenta could taste that amazing! Would you come back: We will be back and bring all of our friends! Guaranteed.

being that the wine corks early and it is a while before tasting food begins, it would be a nice addition to have a cheese and cracker, or veggie tray for snacking to assist with the IMPACT of drinking on an empty stomach.

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: Wonderful blend of flavors and textures. I also liked the fact that you only needed a fork or a spoon! Had the mousse when you served it after a hands-on class and now I have the recipie for the best mousse ever !!! The Skills that you learn were: the biggest tip of the night for me was cold egg yolks and warm whites. For many years I have been doing the opposite. Thank you, Chef. WE really enjoyed ourselevs. It was my first time there. I am coming back with my family April 18th. I have already told three girlfriends about it. The only thing I thought you might want to mention on the web site is that it is ok to bring your own wine for the evening. The short ribs were alitte under done (of course he blamed it on the Oven!) whick only goes to show you that even the "PROS" make mistakes. Even tiger Woods misses those 3 foot putts! After purchasing the WUSTHOF offset slicing knife, I can eliminate half of the knives in my collection, it's a great tool!

The Instructor (Chef) was?: I always look forward to Chef Jean Pierre's opinioins and experiences. He always can make a joke out of some of the most stupid questions. attending one of his classes is like a night out at a stage/ comedy show. The atmosphere was: The class attention was one of the best I have experineced. There was very little backgroud talk and it seemed like ALMOST everybody was interested in what Chef JP had to say. Complexity of the information provided: When you first looked at the recipes, they might have seemed alittle to complexed but after watching them being prepared, they seemed relative easy to make. The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: The Brie and goat cheese soufle & the chocolate mousse were to die for. The Skills that you learn were: Having attended these classes for years, every time I learn something new. Like coating the souffle molds with Parmesan cheese. Would you come back: If you don't have a good time at one of Chef Jean Pierre's classes, you're in the wrong place and he will give you your "money back" maybe!

This was the second class in two nights with beef and it wasn't boring. Plenty to eat. The chef's assistant didn't appear to be any better trained than the night before.

Complexity of the information provided: Chef had to work very hard preparing the mousse, even though it was fantastic, I'm worried that the sweat from my forehead would spoil the dessert. The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: the short ribs were outstanding. Chef worked hard to insure everyone had tender pieces of meat. The Skills that you learn were: Lots of tips, thanks.

The Instructor (Chef) was?: Chef Jean Pierre is always entertaining and upbeat. His responses to questions are extremely helpful. I always learn things from him that help me not only with the items that are being prepared, but for basic knowledge in the kitchen. The atmosphere was: I always have fun in these classes. I have made some nice people during the classes. Complexity of the information provided: The way that Chef Jean Pierre teaches makes thing easily understandable. He has really helped me in cooking so many things through the techniques that he has taught which are easily translatable to many other dishes. The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: The Cheese Polenta and the Chocolate Mousse were the highlights of a very good meal. Would you come back: These are always one of the best nights of fun and entertainment that I have. Coupled with the learning that I experience - it cannot be better.

Dave's cookies were an extra added treat.Would have been nice to have a receipe to use left over sauce from the meat even if not shown in class.

Ran about 1/2 hour too long and some of the people in the class were rude with continually talking among themselves.

Complexity of the information provided: They were fairly easy to follow not too difficult at all but as you know we've been comming to class for years. The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: If not among your best it certainly was very worth while. The Skills that you learn were: I learned that if it needs to be refrigerated for 24 hours you don't freeze it for one and hope it's OK. Would you come back: Always enjoy myself in the classes.

Complexity of the information provided: I am not an expert and I was able to follow along. The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: I brought a guest- my wife who loves mousse. She thought it very good, despite the cold, but she most enjoyed the souffle, while I especially enjoyed the short ribs.

The Instructor (Chef) was?: It is fun to go to "school" and still have a great time The atmosphere was: Although I appreciated your beautiful blue sweater that you specifically chose to match my outfit , next time I will remember to bring my own :-) Complexity of the information provided: With the exception of the mousse... too many steps, but I guess that if I loved mousse, it would not be too tedious to do. The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: Yum yum The Skills that you learn were: Most interesting was the plastic wrap on the Bechamel sauce. Great tip!
