Everyine who attends theses classes live them, because they are fun, entertaining and you get to taste incredible food! Some people think these classes however, are being held in their living room and don't respect other people who are there to have a good time as well, but there to listen to the Chef -- not their conversations. If there's an easy way for te Chef to ask for the attendees to be polite to others there, that would make the evening even more enjoyable! But I love this place!

The Instructor (Chef) was?: Chef JP has the perfect personality to do this. He is very funny while he is being instructive.

Complexity of the information provided: Chef always tries to keep it easy to show that the home cook can do it effectively. The tips on how to get the filet evenly cooked and how to doctor up store bought beef broth are very helpful.

The Instructor (Chef) was?: Chef JP is always entertaining and shared some great jokes.

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: The warm goat cheese custard was excellent with the perfect amount of goat cheese, no overpowering taste. The beef tenderloin was tender, and the brown sauce was delicious.

The Skills that you learn were: Chef Jean Pierre demonstrated how to properly clean a piece of tenderloin, and how to turn into filet mignon, which is a great & money saving thing to know.

Would you come back: Chef Jean Pierre classes are also fun, & taught in a manner to make you realize that even you can cook fantastic foods like a pro, as long as you learn the fundamentals.

The atmosphere was: Everyone was having a great time while thoroughly enjoying the food.

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: Every meal I have had during a class has been amazing, from the appetizers through to the dessert.

Would you come back: I went with both my boyfriend and Mom. It is a great date idea, but also a nice way to bond with friends or a family member while having an entertaining and fun night out!

Complexity of the information provided: If you've spent anytime in the kitchen you should be able to follow and understand all of the information. Yes, only "cooked" eggs can stay out of the refrigerator?!

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: Oh, the tenderloin was fork tender. I'm making the entire meal for the 4th of July.

The Skills that you learn were: Finally learned which comes first, flour or cornstarch.

The evening moved a little slowly. We did not eat the first course until after 9 p.m. Perhaps more things could be prepped in advance.

There is nothing to improve. The evening was delightful.

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: My concern was that there was a lot of carbs served. A fuller salad with the delicious vinaigrette, or haricot verts or asparagus with the meat dish would have been welcome.

My cousins will be planning their visits to us around your schedule. They loved and enjoyed all aspects of the class and cuisine.

Enjoyed the experience but it was often difficult to hear the chef due to the many rude, loud people present. Also was surprised to eat a fine meal in my lap. It detracted from the enjoyment to balance plate and wine glass.

The atmosphere was: There were too many side conversations going on that were very loud and distracting from the presentation.

I would love to have the recipes online. Currently I three-hole-punch my handout and put it in a binder. Since I organize everything on my computer, I would have to scan or retype each page.

The atmosphere was: For the most part cheerful except when the lifestyle of the well to do became a little overbearing.

Complexity of the information provided: These were not the easiest and certainly were not impossible either. We will be doing some experimenting with the fritter recipee.

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: Very tasty. The salad dressing was one of the best we've ever had.

The Skills that you learn were: The next day we finally went and bought a tenderloin and cleaned it. The butcher smiled when we told we wanted to try cleaning it. I'm sure he'd be surprised at how good a job we did.
