As always, we had a wonderful time and I will continue to recommend Jean Pierre's cooking school to all of my friends and clients. The food is first class, the kitchen is spectacular, the store a cooks dream and Jean Pierre is not only an amazing chef but more entertaining than any of the comedians in the comedy clubs. Can't wait to visit again!

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: The tomato sauce with fennel was delicious. I could have eaten a bowl as my whole meal. The swordfish was most and tender. I'd never thought you could pound swordfish, or slice thin like bread for more even cooking. The salmon was tasty and unique. The vanilla was a little strong. The only dish that didn't amaze was the snapper with crab chunk cream sauce. It tasted like very fresh fish, with a heavy sauce on top that didn't give it much flavor--it just sat on top. All else was terrific.

Not an improvement, more of a comment... One of the best things was the selection of recipes. I enjoyed the way all three were different preparations, marinade, saute, and scalopini. Now when I cook fish at home I can go through and see which technique works the best for the meal. I'm soooo excited. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

The Instructor (Chef) was?: Fabulous. Chef JP is informative and funny. He makes learning to cook entertaining and makes students excited to go home and try out the new techniques. A+

The atmosphere was: Wine, food, and wonderful participants. A great night out. We can't wait to go to another class.

Complexity of the information provided: At least he makes it look easy. Easy enough to give you the confidence to try it on your own which is the point.

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: Better than succulent but there isn't another choice :-)

The Skills that you learn were: Chef JP did a great job telling us what other kinds of fish we can use the sauces and sides with, so we didn't learn three recipes, we learned countless options.

The atmosphere was: Great group - a little noisy, but not obnoxious.

The only issue last night that needs improving was not on your part but on the part of some of the students. There were several very loud, unruly and disrespectful people that made it hard to hear and ask questions.

The atmosphere was: way too loud with audience having their own conversations which made it difficult to hear and stay focused - i know that many people were offended by it.

Would you come back: i would come back and try the atmosphere again as many that we spoke after class were not first timers and said that it was just a particularly rude group and they too had been upset by the class, independent conversations and those few people who felt their comments were more important than the chefs.

I think the store is a great idea and hopefully a profitable addition for you as well. People that attend the class are typically foodies and love kitchen toys. The wine loosens the pocketbooks as well (hey, works great in the casinos, right?). A great combination for sales. Good going.

The atmosphere was: A little noisy but this is mostly the by-product of the wine. We try to get there early for a front row seat but so did everyone last night. We'll make it even earlier the next time. No big deal.

I just love the classes, but sometimes it is very frustrating to try to hear the chef over the constant talking of the people in attendance. I know it's to be a jovial, fun type atmosphere, and that is fine. That's part of the overall experience, but in some cases it stops the "educational" component of it and just comes off as rude. Last night's group was noisy, but not offensive. I have been in attendance when that was not the case. I truly understand the fine line chef must walk with his audience, and I respect his handling of the situation. I just wish people would have a little more consideration of him as well as the rest of us. No matter what, however, I will always enjoy his presentations and exquisite cooking!!!

The Instructor (Chef) was?: The chef is ALWAYS just marvelous....good sense of humor and is somehow able to teach in spite of the endless talking of his audience.

The experience was everything I thought it could be and more.

The Instructor (Chef) was?: I appreciated the opportunity to ask some questions after the class was over.

Complexity of the information provided: The recipes were so easy to make and with the techniques that the chef teaches makes them much less intimidating.

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: The food was unbelievable. The snapper was one of the most decadent snapper recipes I've tasted and the coconut spinach was to die for.

The Skills that you learn were: I was glad that the tools the chef used were available at the store considering I was planning on making the recipes at home.

Would you come back: Che Jean Pierre was so informative and funny. He made the learning process fun and taught many techniques and short cuts that I never knew of. I am already searching out future classes to attend.
