I would appreciate some short bathroom breaks scheduled into the time. I was uncomfortable at times and couldn't concentrate on Chef Jean Pierre because I was thinking about the bathroom!

I had to leave before the official end of the class (eating the food) and forgot to ask for the handout the Chef had prepared. Would it be possible to email the knife handout to me? I would find it very helpful as I practice the skills I learned yesterday. Thank you very much.

The small class size and interactive portion with hands-on practice, was really great. The chef took the time to personally assist us with the proper techniques so we all learned a lot. Great format, everyone seemed to enjoy!

The only things I would change(ask for) is a list of where to go to buy ingredients and where to get wines to buy. When I go shopping for items,stores do not have or carry many of the ingredients.

The most important item I learned is what it really means to have "quality" tools,equipment and ingredients.I have tried new items at home(recipes,tools)and I am seeing great results. I will buy a set of knives later this month and some pots because Chef Jean really believes in quality and giving his years of expertise to us.

The class was so informative - learned the correct way to chop, slice, etc. Hands on was great and the meal after the class was excellent. No improvements needed here.

nothing, it was a great class! I was so excited and feel like I learned a lot. I look forward to practicing my new knife skills and coming back for another class or dinner.

It was a nice touch to offer the coffee in the morning and to have serve wine and fritta after the class. The size of the class was perfect. It was just small enough that I still felt like I had one on one instruction.

We learned how to use each of the 5 knives he went over, with the exception of the carving knife for meat/chicken. Seeing that being used would have been nice too.

This is a great base level course for anyone looking to improve as a chef, rather than just learn a few recipes. Highly recommended.

Nothing, the class was great. Chef Jean Pierre was an excellent instructor and we had a great time. We took the class yesterday and are already looking at the calendar for our next class.

I would have liked to learn and practice the position of the left hand fingers (thumb tucked under, blade resting on knuckle, etc.) while cutting something long.

I can't think of anything... It's great that you have a wide variety of cooking classes not just french or italian. I tend to be interested in asian and mediterranean which you offer as well. Good Job!!

The Skills that you learn were: I went home and with my new knife skills the dinner preparation was quicker , enjoyable and the presenation of julienne, small, medium and large dice looks awesome. A class every cook needs.

The Skills that you learn were: I have wanted to take the knife skills class for some time now. I think the skills are very valuable and will improve my kitchen experience. The knife skills has to be taught as a hands on class because chef Jean Pierre makes it look a lot easier than it is. But with practice I am confident I can build on the skills I learned during class and become proficient using the new techniques. I never would have attempted to de-bone a chicken before taking the knife skills class. I am really excited about practicing these new techniques.
