We are not wine drinkers (or really any alcohol... Yep, I know we are boring!! :-) ) and while the bottles of water was great, we would have loved to have the option of tea or something with flavor to drink with our meal.

My husband and I had a great time last night. We were celebrating 19 years of marriage... What do you do to celebrate that?? Well we chose something different for us and we were not disappointed. We used to own a restaurant so we know a little bit about cooking and a bit picky about our food... Yet you managed to teach us both something that we did not know and served food that we both loved and you even managed to make both of us laugh!! We had a good time. We will be back with our daughters and our friends. Thank you for an awesome night!!

We loved it. Perfect date night. It was like going to an expensive restaurant, but better. I learned tons. Can't wait to try out the recipes. If I lived closer I would take every class. We already signed up for 2 more.

having recently trav eled to australia, and not seeing much australian fare offered here, i think an aussie night with kangaroo and barramundi and bush tucker would be delicious. i'd attend, being i cannot find kangaroo at costco!

This was absolutely one of best fish classes yet. To me,the fig and tarragon glaze served with the grouper was especially outstanding. The richness and flavor combinations of the glaze served with the crispy yet tender grouper was an amazing combination. Thanks Chef, Ellie

Everyone is starving by the time we get to eat. If there is a way to start off with some bites early, that would be nice. Also, when there is a lot of food, I don't like to waste it or get miserably full. I would like to take it home if I can't eat it all. But please don't reduce the portions! The food is excellent! And I want it all!

Complexity of the information provided: I liked it that the recipes and methods are not too complicated. If there are too many steps or ingredients, I won't make it.

The atmosphere was: Chef JP and staff always make you feel welcome.

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: The food is always fantastic. Chefs attention to detail makes you feel as if you were in a fine dining resturant.

Would you come back: If I did not get my gift cert every year I would be extremely disappointed.

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: WE can't wait to play with the recipes. My fave was the halibut with the fabulous mashed potatoes adn all topped with the perfectly balanced carmelized onions. John voted for the salmon wrapped in prosciutto-the potato sald was phenomenal. Think we will wrap some halibut and toss some mint in the potato salad this weekend.

Just a thought, the potatoe salad seemed to have a bitter taste, I'm wondering if the black olives could have done that and if so, what else could you substitute for them???

this was a great class and the dishes were exceptional. JeanPierre had to work very hard for this class. Despite the fact that his mother is a live wire at 84 eating the typical french diet, I am committed to low cholesterol diet and would find it very interesting to see if one could make mayonnaise using egg beaters or the like. Might be an interesting experiment for Chef Jean Pierre.

I recommend having cheese and crackers or some appetizers starting 30min before the class. This way friends can socialize and get a little snack so they are not too hungry during the class.

The fish itself was divine ...The association with prosciutto was maybe not the best choise because it killed the refined taste of the fish secondly I feel that cooking Parma in wahtever fashion kills the soul of that wonderful ham. The delicious potatosalad would have fitted better if it would have been served luke warm (like a Salade Liegeoise). The wonderful mix oignons/mashed potatoes was very good by itself but too overwelming for the outstanding delicate preparation of the coco crusted grouper (great taste indeed) I'd rather see the mashed/oigons with tasty meats (not chicken or veal)...the saved aioli was still delicious in spite of its texture (great idea with the peppers)...As a whole it was a great evening By the way a last little remark "be less generous with garlic" this also tends to overwelm the tasty nature of foods. Please accept my little remarks as a token of my admiration for the skills and enthousiasm of a great chef...MONSIEUR Jean Pierre. Most cordially Pierre Lapter
