Not enough wisk and wooden spoons for everyone in the class. Recommend having enough tools for everyone.

The Instructor (Chef) was?: Chef Rob was terrific. He was funny, entertaining and very helpful. He worked with all of us and gave us a lot of tips. And his recipes were great.

The atmosphere was: A lot of fun. Very congenial. Met some nice people.

Complexity of the information provided: Pie crusts intimidate me. And it is a bit complex to a novice, but Chef Rob made it understandable and I'm not afraid to try it at home now.

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: I sneaked a taste of the apples and they were great. My husband and I had a slice of pumpkin pie when I got home and it was delicious. I froze both pies so my kids could have some when they come home this week for the holidays.

The Skills that you learn were: I now feel like i can make a really good pie.

Would you come back: I would come back for the cookies but it's full. I intend to come back for other classes. I'm hooked.

The atmosphere was: With such a small class (5) we had lots of assistance from both the chef and his assistant.

Complexity of the information provided: I have NEVER been able to make a good pie crust. Now I know how to make a GREAT one!

Chef Robb was very informative and a joy to listen to. I was concerned I would become bored but that never happened. Looking forward to a cookie class in Dec. Steve D.

Any class I have taken of Chef Rob's I always learn something new and it is generally just a little tip that you say to yourself "Really? I didn't know that" (like only using metal pans for pie crust instead of the glass ones most people have). Every class I have taken has been great and very informative. Chef Rob has an amazing personality and does not hesitate to share his any of his knowledge of the baking industry.

Complexity of the information provided: It was amazing to me just how simple making homemade pie crust is and what a difference the taste is compared to the pre-made you but at the grocery store.

The pie class with Chef Rob was FANTASTIC. I live about an hour away; and, I have two small children. So - for me to get away on a Saturday for 6 hours (4 hour class and 2 hours driving) is not an easy thing to do. It was so worth it - I learned so much, had so much fun and the pies are DELICIOUS. Thank you so much. I am positive that I will be signing up for more classes soon.

I would definitely take another hands on with Chef Rob - I hope you all do Basic cake decorating in the spring!!!

Complexity of the information provided: They were explained well, it's just not that easy to make a pie crust from scratch - the technique will take some time to get down.

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: I haven't tasted it yet, so I can't really answer, but I am sure it is going to be great!

My only suggestion would to either have less people in the class or do something else to manage the time. It ran a bit too long. But otherwise, great class, and I look forward to more!

I don't know which was better: the number of cooking skills I picked up in this enjoyable class, or the smell of our pies waffling through the kitchen and cooking school. I can't wait to take more classes like this one.
