The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: The lamb roast was delicious and I'm not a huge fan of lamb. Have had the polenta many times but not with the blue cheese. It was great.

Would you come back: Love going to Jean-Pierre's classes. Not only do my husband and I learn cooking tips, we eat wonderful food and have a very entertaining evening.

Jean Pierre last night you told the story about the guys you refunded money too because of the wild girls in the class. I wanted to say that I come to have a bit of fun but also it is a cooking class so I want to listen intently so I learn. If you don't quiet girls like that ( and I have been there when they are there ) then the people who want to learn your skills and come back to do so ( and not just for a birthday out ) cannot. People need to realise they are at a class not a concert , a medium of curtosy is needed for all to enjoy. I so much enjoyed last nights lesson because it was fun, people laughed and talked but we also were able to hear and learn from you.
Additional comments and observations

The atmosphere was: not too noisy , so learning was able while still enjoying a light jovial atmosphere.

Complexity of the information provided: I was surprised how easy it would be to make a marsala sauce, thought it was more complex before I watched you make it easy.

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: thought the panna cotta was a bit bland but loved the lamb and the pesto inside.

The Skills that you learn were: understanding why to cook things a certain way in certain heat is very important and something I had never learned. cooking what you teach makes my meals turn out great and my family is so surprised at this sudden change . They now love when I cook

I find first time classes to be the most fun and very educational.
Additional comments and observations

The Instructor (Chef) was?: First time classes are the best.

The Skills that you learn were: The beauty of first time classes is that if the recipe doesn't turn out as good as planned or has errors JP make it all work in the end and you learn lots of stuff.

We had a blast last night! The concept for creating a rolled roast from the leg of lamb can be applied to several types of meats and recipes. Because there were several serious cooks and longtime JP students in the audience, we particularly enjoyed the interchange of ideas to modify the recipes with different herbs/ingredients. Finally, we've finally learned the right way to cook scallops, which is one of our favorite dishes when we dine out!

I have been attending classes since the "Left Bank" days. It is obvious that I love them. I would love to see a class done on Indian food.
Additional comments and observations

The Instructor (Chef) was?: Class moved along very well. Chef gave very helpful tips. Although I have attended many classes I learned some new tips.

The atmosphere was: The class as a whole was in a very good mood. Everyone was having fun.

Complexity of the information provided: First time I've seen a leg of lamb stuffed. Lamb is my favorite meat so I am anxious to try this new recipe.

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: I was the only one in our group that liked the dessert, I loved it. I don't like things that are too sweet, this was just right.

Would you come back: The chef and the class were all out to have a good time last night.
