The Instructor (Chef) was?: Chef Jean Pierre is very entertaining and makes if very obvious that he truly loves what he's doing.

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: The potato souffle, the orange mustard sauce and the cannellini bean and tomato ragout were amazing. The fish couldn't have been fresher. The seared tuna was of the best quality.

The Skills that you learn were: Chef not only instructs on the recipes that he is doing that evening but also gives you great ideas on how you can improvise and also talks about other recipes as well.

Would you come back: I have been to many of the classes and will continue to return.

Where have you been all my life? I think my fear of not being perfect in cooking has made me shy away from trying. Your suggestions and casual nature and excellent humor have given me encouragement to try. As well, your use of more commonly used incredients have broken that "Mystical" gourmet chef barrier. I really desire to come back and try the hands on lessons. Now, it takes forever for me to do the simplest chopping and cutting. I think if I can master these hurdles I would also be more comfortable in the kitchen. I know I have the support of Lawrence and my kids who have never seen a decent meal prepared out of this "superachieving professional woman" who burns eggs! Thanks a million! Marcia (red hair)

The Instructor (Chef) was?: Chef, If you haven't been on TV, you should audition. Your personality would be the main reason we would return with the food a very close second!

The atmosphere was: I was pleasantly surprised to see a mix of people my generation, singles and couples, not "food addicts" with different skill levels but all with good humor basically coming for a good time.

Complexity of the information provided: I am NOT A COOK. My two teenage sons cook, my boyfriend cooks. I brought him there for his birthday. I was happy to see that I understood what you were talking about. It made sense to me. I think I could do many of these things myself.

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: What can I add? I have a thin person appetite but could have eaten a plate of everything. Perhaps, the tilapia was a bit well-done. That would be my only suggestion.

The Skills that you learn were: As mentioned, I am not at home in a kitchen but I stared at your hands via the mirror and watched your techniques and listened carefully as you casually throughout golden tidbits. I really think I can do this!

Would you come back: I didn't expect to have fun. I expected Lawrence to have fun. I was really shocked how much I got into the cooking part. The people around me also made it a casual easy to follow social experience and I was very relaxed and not intimidated.
