It was just a delightful experience, and the food was delicious! I was not aware we had to bring our own wine, and when I got home I looked at the sheet that I had printed out regarding the class and did not see that on there. It was such a perfect meal to have been able to enjoy a glass of wine with it! Oh well, next time I will know better!

Honestly, I can't think of a thing. Well, perhaps begin a little earlier in the evening. We old folks (tongue in cheek) have a harder time going to bed on a full stomach!

Would you come back: We live in Annapolis, MD and make it a point to plan our trips around his cooking classes!

I had a great time and learned a lot. I thought Chef was hilarious and kept everything entertaining. My only complaint is that I wish the group of women that were there were not so noisy, it was distracting and I felt rude to the chef and those of us who wanted to hear him.

Some people did not bring an alcoholic beverage. I would make the water more accessible. Even though the water was available people were not comfortable getting it in the middle of the lecture. Maybe a side station with pitchers of water,etc.

The Skills that you learn were: One of the most interesting parts of the class are the useful tips that chef gives throughout the class on cooking techniques. He has many years of experience and he shares his expertise with his students readily.

The Instructor (Chef) was?: I thought the assistant was so cute and funny. He was always 3 step ahead of Jean and was there to open every bottle and hand chef Jean everything he needed. Spot on well done. I wanted to hear him talk because he seemed so quiet. And they were both so organized.

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: The food was amazing. The mash potatoes were everything chef had described and more. He really delivered on what he promised.

The Skills that you learn were: I have to tell you how impressed I was at the cleanliness of the store. Also everything from the viking refrigerator and the pots and pans was top of the line. The school was very high end and the equipment matched it.

Would you come back: The class was worth every penny I spent. Unfortunately it was still very pricey. The chef and his assistant worked very hard and you could tell. Something like this is definitely a luxury for me. And I will for sure return for every special occasion and ask for gift certificates from friends and family

Complexity of the information provided: As a novice, some of the concepts were a bit much for me - but I hope to attend one of the beginner classes soon.

The Skills that you learn were: I learn something new every class I attend and I am reminded of things learned in the past.

Would you come back: For me, Jean-Pierre's classes offer more than watching someone cook. He teaches us about the chemistry of the ingredients and their interactions. I love that! I like to know the "whys" and the "hows" of things and Jean-Pierre readily answers any questions. So, when I do the recipes at home, there is a logic and a deeper understanding of what is happening. And all this while having FUN!

Impress upon the students that some in the class come to learn and ask questions and that it's really rude of them to talk when you are talking. We're all for having fun, but some manners please.

The Instructor (Chef) was?: As always, Jean Pierre was in great form.

The atmosphere was: Too cheerful; some just come to party with friends and not to learn anything about cooking. It was so noisy you couldn't hear what the chef was trying to tell you about the delicious dishes he was creating.

Complexity of the information provided: The creme caramel was the only part with delicate steps.

The Food (or Wine for a Wine) Class: A nice tribute to Julia.

The Skills that you learn were: I learned how to use my zester for little strips :-)
