CINCO DE MAYO PARTY
 

 

 Cinco de Mayo!  Just in time to plan a party on Cinco De Mayo!

But if you don’t have a party, these recipes are good any day of the week and all year long. 

Easy to do and always a favorite with family and friends but a different twist on traditional favorites.  

There are some new techniques to be learned in this class, i.e. making a great braised/roasted pork for the carnitas; making fresh salsas;

how to season food to make it taste really great-and we'll talk about chiles of course!

The Perfect Paella Party
 

 

If you enjoy Spanish food, you'll love this.  If you don't know---we wager you will!

  A great paella that you make at home!

Paella Valenciana  is a Spanish main dish, a combo of chicken, meat and shrimp--makes a beautiful and fabulous party entree.

Bonnie has simplified it---instead of cooking it over an open flame as it is traditionally done in Spain,

we will cook ours in the oven.  Leave it to Bonnie to show you the short cut while retaining the quality and character of the dish. 

  It's delicious and super easy to duplicate  in your kitchen.

Tonight's challenge will be create a recipe that has three parts---

you will make the Italian crepes which will serve as the pasta, you'll make the seafood filling, and the sauce. Wow! 

You will find out how easy it is when you tackle it piecemeal and have a plan of action.
