Loved the entire experience. Chef John is wonderful. His instruction is great, he is very entertaining, he makes his guests feel welcome and comfortable, he assists with cooking where needed, he plays AMAZING music throughout the evening, and he makes the night so incredibly wonderful. I never would have tried any of the recipes on my own but now seeing how they are done, I'm ready to go! The food was fantastic. Unlike other cooking experiences in that this was fun with the guests, the Chef, the staff and the venue. THANK YOU!

This is the "hands on" class we have been searching for! I hate attending cooking classes where I merely watch someone...I can do that on the Food Channel any day. I felt like I was a member of a working kitchen (a somewhat dysfunctional one, but one who put the "fun" in dysFUNctional)! Every detail, from the hats and aprons, to the competitive format, and culminating in a not only a disco ball dance, but a meal that made me feel like I was at a 5 star restaurant! Worth every penny, especially when you think that it is almost 5 hours of entertainment, a lesson in culinary arts, an opportunity to meet wonderful new people, AND a meal I'd pay quite a bit for in any restaurant. Kudos to all of you who put this together everyday. We WILL be back!

Chef John is an excellent and entertaining host. The ingredients were exciting, and even an inexperienced cook would have a fantastic time. Same price as any fine dining experience, but with the added memories of an event. We would be hard pressed to even try another place for this. We will definitely be bringing friends and family back to Chef John and his team.

Re: complexity of the recipes... The recipes themselves weren't complex in terms of skills or ingredients, but I think a solo chef at home might feel that they are more complex than they are as he/she would handle all the prep/steps alone. That's not bad, just a comment.
