When canceling seat(s) within our one week cancellation policy your on-line account will be credited for future reservation(s).  NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED TO YOUR CREDIT CARD.

We reserve the right to cancel any class due to our minimum seating requirements, you will be notified of any cancellations prior to the class. A full refund of your payment will be issued to your credit card.

Transfers, Cancellations or any changes Require at least ONE WEEK notice.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

Please do not ask us to make exceptions, as the instructor and our staff have already begun preparations and purchased the ingredients for the class. In many cases, we have refused someone a seat because it was reserved for you.

How to Register for Classes:

You may register for classes online at www.elitecuisines.com then clicking the classes tab.

Payment can be made using American Express, Discover, MasterCard or Visa PayPal is also accepted for online orders. If you choose to pay with cash or check you must register in person at the store. You may also pay for classes with any gift card issued by Elite Cuisines. You must pay for the class and agree to the HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT before participating in the class seat will be reserved for you. By placing the Hold

Harmless Agreement in your shopping cart online signifies you agree with the terms of the agreement.

Cancellation Policy:

All class reservations are Non-Refundable, much like purchasing a ticket for a cultural or sporting event. If you need to cancel a class we will try to sell your space to someone else if we happen to have a waiting list. Otherwise you may send someone in your place to the class. Classes with insufficient enrollment will be cancelled prior to the class. In these instances, students will be notified by phone or email and receive a full refund, or apply the credit to another class event at a later date.

Inclement Weather Conditions and Instructor Illness:

If we cancel a class due to inclement weather or illness of the instructor you will be notified as soon as that decision is made. A full refund will be offered or you may choose to apply funds to another scheduled event. In the event of less than optimal weather conditions and we do conduct the class and you do not attend, no refunds will be given. We will use as a rule the same criteria other public venues use to determine whether or not a class will be held during inclement weather conditions.

Recipes and Food Tastings:

All Classes that include food preparation will include food samples of items prepared and recipe packets supporting the items prepared during the class will be distributed to each class member unless otherwise indicated in the package.

Menu items are subject to change due to the availability of ingredients.

Safe and Appropriate Behavior:

For the safety of everyone involved, Elite Cuisines reserves the right to deny admittance to or remove any individuals deemed unable to safely participate in class. In these very rare instances refunds will not be provided.

Registration Waiver:

Classes must be reserved and paid for in advance. All class participants will be required to sign a HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT, WAIVER, AND RELEASE as well as a PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE prior to participating in any class. No one may participate in a class without having the waiver signed and dated.

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT, WAIVER, and RELEASE

In consideration of being permitted by Elite Cuisines to participate in its Cooking Class, I hereby waive, release, and discharge any and all claims for damages or personal injury, death, or property damage which I, or in the case of children’s classes, my child, may have or which may hereafter accrue as a result of my participation in said activity. This release is intended to discharge, in advance, Elite Cuisines as well as all members of its cooking class staff whether contracted or employed from and against any and all liability arising out of or connected in any way with any participation in said activity.

I understand that the above activity may be of a hazardous nature and/or include physical and/or strenuous activity, that serious accidents occasionally occur during the above activity; and that participants in the above activity can occasionally sustain personal injuries as a consequence thereof. Knowing the risks involved, nevertheless, I have voluntarily applied to participate in said activity, and I hereby agree to assume any and all risks of injury or death and to release and hold harmless Elite Cuisines as well as all members of its cooking school staff whether contracted or employed, who might otherwise be liable to me or in the case of children’s classes, my child.

I further understand and agree that this waiver, release, and assumption of risks is to be binding on my heirs and assigns.

I further agree to indemnify and to hold Elite Cuisines as well as all members of it cooking class staff whether contracted or employed free and harmless from any loss, liability damage, cost, or expense which they may incur as a result of any injury that I or in the case of children’s classes, my child may sustain while participating in said activity.

BY SIGNING THIS WAIVER, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT, WAIVER, AND RELEASE AND FULLY UNDERSTAND IT CONTENTS. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A CONTRACT BETWEEN MYSELF AND ELITE CUISINES AND ANY STAFF MEMBER OF COOKING CLASSES WHETHER CONTRACTED OR EMPLOYED.

PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE

By signing below, I fully understand that I and/or my minor child may be photographed or video-taped while attending a class or demonstration at Elite Cuisines Cooking Classes. I hereby surrender all property rights to said photos or videos and understand that Elite Cuisines may or may not choose to use these photos or videos for media or promotional use now or in the future. I understand that if the photos or videos are used, it will be done so in a tasteful and respectful manner.
