The atmosphere was: The dishes and individual place settings really made the class special. The food was: The food was beautiful, the portions were great, we were so full afterwards! The skills you learned were: Naomi really included alot of small tips that make for the best sushi. I was looking for authentic sushi and miso soup makings and this was it. I enjoyed myself and had fun: My son Gunnar and I really enjoyed taking this class.

The atmosphere was: I found the deli area a little distracting with shoppers going around. I would have preferred a more private setting.

The instructor was: Naomi has a warm, friendly personality, and she was very willing to share ideas and answer our questions. The atmosphere was: I felt comfortable even though I took the class without knowing anybody. Complexity of the recipes: Rolling sushi nees some techniques, but Naomi showed them very well. The food was: Everything was very delicious. However, I was surprised to find celerty although it tasted ok. In Japan, I have never find celery in rolled sushi. The skills you learned were: Yes, they are definitely very useful! Naoami taught me very helpful tips to make good shape that couldn't be found in the cookbooks I have read. I enjoyed myself and had fun: I was a little nervous since it was a hands on class, but I actually had lots of fun!

The instructor was: Neomi was pleasant and knowledgable! We loved the stories from her childhood about her grandmothers and also the stories and advice from Mrs. Watanabe.

The instructor was: Excellent class. I had a great time. The atmosphere was: I know we were in the store, and it wasn't bad, but you need a microphone or speak up a little. Those of us on the outside of the table had a hard time hearing. I enjoyed myself and had fun: I really enjoyed your mother. She is a wonderful woman.

The instructor was: We loved Naomi! Great personality - so cheerful. We loved the additional tips about nutrition and other uses for ingredients. The atmosphere was: Great! We felt comfortable with strangers in a very short period of time. Very nice atmosphere to ask questions and not look stupid. The food was: AWESOME! Much more than we had expected! The skills you learned were: We feel that we could go home and actually make sushi! Great idea to have it in the store where we could pick up what we needed. I enjoyed myself and had fun: We're seriously considering taking more classes.

The instructor was: Naomi was open, personable, patient and engaging. She--and, her assistants--made learning a fun experience, rather than an anxious one. The atmosphere was: It was okay to have fun and make mistakes. I had completely forgotten that we were in a store with patrons wandering around and sometimes watching. Complexity of the recipes: Having an actual recipe along with a display of the ingredients and explanation of the preparation...I feel prepared to have a couple sushi-making parties. The food was: Nice quality and very well prepped for our use. The skills you learned were: Now, I have a nice dinner-making-and-sharing experience to have with my friends and family! I enjoyed myself and had fun: I naturally have fun, so I'm glad the class was loose enough to allow fun to be had. Plus, Naomi was so smiley and happy that even those that were more serious had a good time, too.

The instructor was: I know Naomi already and already like her so it was easy to enjoy this class. The atmosphere was: Everyone in the group was nice and played nicely with each other. Complexity of the recipes: The recipes seemed very easy to me. The food was: I enjoyed the food. All the ingredients were very fresh. The skills you learned were: I always wanted to learn how to make sushi and Naomi made it very easy and understandable. It was nice to have her mom and other helpers there too to watch you and help you as you went along. I enjoyed myself and had fun: It was easy to have fun in this class.
